Based in Kentville, Nova Scotia, MotionBed Inc./LitMotion Inc. is the sleep tech start-up behind DreamDirector.AI. The Founder & CEO, Dr. Ken Raj Leslie, is a self-taught lucid dreamer and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. 

MotionBed Inc. has received over $100k in non-dilutive funding from Invest Nova Scotia, SpringBoard Atlantic IP, NS Spark and R2L. Dr. Leslie has a USPTO patent-pending for a Dream Directing System . MotionBed is also developing a rocking bed and an eye-movement detection sleep mask. The goal is to develop the best sleep and dream tech, to help users "sleep better, dream better." 

Dr. Leslie has an on-going collaboration with the Acadia Institute for Data Analytics that has helped develop our real-time sleep stage detection AI. Dr. Leslie is currently supervising 3 Honours Undergrad students who are running a LUCID DREAM research study at Acadia University using the DreamDirector App. 28 participants have signed-up to use the Apple Watch & iPhone DreamDirector App for 32 nights as part of the research study (REB#24-56, 24-57, 24-58).
